I haven't written in awhile, so I thought I'd just jot down a few things that have been going on in the life of Lindsey and Enzo.
As you can see below, Enzo now rolls from stomach to back, but not yet the opposite way, soon soon.
The past few days I've gone to get him in the morning and he has the blanket over his head.
This kind of freaks me out and I don't understand his obsession with it, but I guess I'll just be checking in on the babe more often.
Enzo eats baby food twice a day now, we haven't found a food yet he doesn't like, but I recommend steering clear of the prunes.
We're excited to visit some family in friends in CA next week, yes, he told me he was excited, too...we have our own little language going on.
Enzo LOVES people. He gets excited, almost like a panting dog because he wants to be a part of what's going on so bad.
We went for our first outdoor stroller walk last night, it was a beautiful night and we were also able to sit/lay on the grass for a bit.
Enzo loves to play, if I'm holding him he'll stare at his toys as if he just wants out of my arms to dig into the fun. I think he's going to be real independent.
That's about it for now, I'm sure we'll have plenty to blog about next week.
Hope all is well with every one.

Am I the only one with this problem?
Ok, so I felt like the biggest dork at work today. When I cross my legs or sit on my leg while at my desk, I often get up and I guess a portion of my leg falls asleep. In return, my leg gets a mind of it's own when walking or completely gives out...so today, for the first time, it completely gave out and I fell at work. Luckily the guy next to me is hard of hearing and never heard me fall and every one else was in a meeting. So, that's now 2x times that I've fallen in the past few weeks. I'm doing real well over here, I promise.

Just a quick note...
Enzo started his new daycare yesterday. It's nice to know that he is well taken care of and seems to be in good hands. When I show up, all the other kids are so excited to see him so it looks like he'll be loved by many and given the chance to learn from them as well. When I showed up this morning, Luisa was making the kids waffles and sausage and there was some cute music playing for all the kids. She has taken the time to transform a portion of her home into a wonderful daycare setting full of lots of toys and fun for the kids. I'm really confident that this is going to be a great place for my lil' man.

Always test the water first...
Just a little warning for all you out there! Always test the bath water for you or your children before getting in. I say this because last night I learned and thought I'd share quite the funny with you. I guess so long as I can make every one laugh, including myself, life is good.
I started the bath water last night and tested it as it was running, plugged it up and waited for it to fill. As I stepped both feet into the water I was suddenly awakened by the scolding hot water. I don't think I've ever felt such hot water on my feet, so what did I do...JUMPED as high and fast as I could out of the tub, to only go slippin' and sliding flat on my rear! OUCH! My mother was in the living room and we all know how fast she'll jump and run when something goes wrong, but I assured her that things were ok. She had thought the baby bath had crashed, but I pretty much crashed into it. I guess you could say it was like sliding into 2nd base. Needless to say, when I actually told my mother what happened, her worried look suddenly turned into a chuckle and she laughed at me. It's funny to think about, but not something I want to relive. I'm suddenly getting sore and that can't be a great thing. I'm just grateful all my bones are still together.

Happy Birthday Danny!
Happy 13th Birthday Angel Baby! Can you believe it, a teenager in the hands of Lindsey? Wow...it amazes me when I think of it. How would it be? How different would my life be? I know that Danny is safe and in God's hands right now, he is blowing out his 13 candles in Heaven. May we all keep him in our thoughts today and always. Danny is an amazing and handsome little young man. He always had such a sweet spirit about him. Today, Enzo and I will be going to his grave to pay it a visit. I'm excited, for it is Enzo's first time. What an amazing experience this will be. I have Enzo at work with me today and he's looking up from his seat and making sweet noises with the biggest grin on his face. May he grace me with his sweet laugh today! I love you Danny! Mommy is thinking of you today and always. Until we meet again...

It's Official...
Aside from rice cereal, he's only had bananas and now peas. I wanted to give him veggies as quick as possible so that he could grow to love them. It worked! I had a feeling Enzo would love anything that I offered him, and so far so good. We'll see how it goes later on, but as for now, he likes his peas and almost finished an entire container of them. I believe he's going through a huge growth spurt and that since he's out of the daycare, he's been more happy and eating a ton more as well. He's been eating 7-8 oz every 3 hours and at dinner time he eats his baby food and a bottle after. I've noticed a huge change in him just over the past week and it's been fun to see him develop and grow lately. He's learning to grab things a lot more and even bring them up to his mouth. It's cute because he knows what his binkie is and when he sees it, he inches his face toward it with his mouth open. I have attached a picture of him and his peas, as well as one of him playing with his Pooh Bear, which is his favorite toy right now.

Why God Made Mothers?
1. She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is.
2. Mostly to clean the house.
3. To help us out of there when we were getting born.
How did God make mothers?
1. He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.
2. Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring.
3. God made my Mom just the same like he made me. He just used bigger parts.
What ingredients are mothers made of ?
1. God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world and one dab of mean.
2. They had to get their start from men's bones. Then they mostly use string, I think.
Why did God give you your mother and not some
other mom?
1. We're related.
2. God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's moms like me.
What kind of little girl was your mom?
1. My Mom has always been my mom and none of that other stuff.
2. I don't know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy.
3. They say she used to be nice.
What did mom need to know about dad before she
married him?
1. His last name.
2. She had to know his background. Like is he a crook? Does he get drunk on beer?
3. Does he make at least $800 a year? Did he say NO to drugs and YES to chores?
Why did your mom marry your dad?
1. My dad makes the best spaghetti in the world. And my Mom eats a lot.
2. She got too old to do anything else with him.
3. My grandma says that Mom didn't have her thinking cap on.
Who's the boss at your house?
1. Mom doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dad's such a goof ball.
2. Mom. You can tell by room inspection. She sees the stuff under the bed.
3. I guess Mom is, but only because she has a lot more to do than dad.
What's the difference between moms & dads?
1. Moms work at work and work at home and dads just go to work at work.
2. Moms know how to talk to teachers without scaring them.
3. Dads are taller & stronger, but moms have all the real power 'cause that's who you got to ask if you want to sleepover at your friend's.
4. Moms have magic, they make you feel better without medicine.
What does your mom do in her spare time?
1. Mothers don't do spare time.
2. To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long.
What would it take to make your mom perfect?
1. On the inside she 's already perfect. Outside, I think some kind of plastic surgery.
2. Diet. You know, her hair. I'd diet, maybe blue.
If you could change one thing about your mom, what would it be?
1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that.
2. I'd make my mom smarter. Then she would know it was my sister who did it and not me.
3. I would like for her to get rid of those invisible eyes on the back of her head.

Daycare
It was hard to tell her we were going and had other plans, I do like the person she is, in fact, I love her, but I have to think of the well being of my precious child. I honestly think this womans time is done watching children. She's been doing it for 30 years and is just done! She's older and set in her ways, she wants her time and her freedom, she doesn't want to watch some one else's children all day...she'd rather care for her grandchildren and that's her plan in the next 2 years when she retires. Oh well, life goes on and I wish her all the best of luck, I just need to do what I feel is right for my child and his development.

I often wonder why?
BREAKING NEWS: Crime scene taped off in Amber Alert search
April 1st, 2008 @ 9:31pm
Within the last hour, police have taped off the apartment complex where Hser Ner Moo was living with her family. There is also a medical examiner on the scene.
Police have given no official word, but the crime scene tape is clear evidence of a major development.
The police tape is blocking the entryway into the apartment complex.
We've also been told that volunteers have been asked to stop looking. That request came around 7:00.
A witness did tell us that three or four people have been detained by police and that the police were seen stepping over something in an apartment.
We don't know at this point if a body has been found.
We expect a press conference shortly.
